Scam Alert

SCDPPPS would never call family members of incarcerated individuals to request money for early inmate release. If you receive a scam call, contact local law enforcement and report it to the FTC.

Parole and Pardons hearings are open to both victims and supporters of offenders. Use the form below to determine the hearing date for a specific individual.

Hearing schedules are finalized approximately 30 days prior to the actual hearing. Check this website periodically to determine rescheduled hearings or posted results. Hearings, posted updates or results may be delayed. PPP offers the Parole and Pardon Hearings Search feature as a public service. While PPP strives to ensure accuracy of this information, it makes no guarantee as to the reliability of the data. Under no circumstances will PPP be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, with regard to any and all information obtained through the use of this service. Please report data errors or discrepancies via e-mail, using the Contact Us form. If you need immediate assistance, please call 803-734-9220.

At times, circumstances may require that members of the SC Board of Paroles and Pardons participate virtually from remote locations. This is part of our effort to ensure an uninterrupted parole/pardon hearing process. Automated pardon records are not available for hearings conducted prior to July 7, 2021.

If you plan to attend a hearing to oppose parole, please notify us in advance. If you plan to attend a hearing to support parole, please contact the SC Department of Corrections (PDF). The criteria for inmate parole consideration can be found below, as well as the 2024 SC Parole Board of Paroles and Pardons Calendar.
