Mollie DuPriest Taylor of West Columbia was appointed and confirmed to the SC Board of Paroles and Pardons in 2019. Mrs. Taylor is a graduate of Brookland Cayce High School, a cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, and a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. She formerly taught in Lexington School District Two and is currently a practicing attorney, along with her husband, Henry Taylor, and they have an office in West Columbia. She formerly served on the SC Juvenile Parole Board and was the Director of that agency for several years. Mrs. Taylor is a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoys playing tennis and traveling.
